42. That is how many total drafts all of my essays I have. That means on average each essay was drafted 6 time. SIX. I have never in my life written, revised, rewritten and revised again so many times. But this is vet school. And it has to be perfect.
With the September 15th deadline looming, I’m finally ready to turn in all my materials. After long, stressful days and nights writing, filling out supplements, paying all sorts of fees and thinking up answers to questions meant to tell them my entire soul in 2000 characters or less I am ready.
It’s been long, it’s been hard but hopefully it’s all worth it.
